Synopsis
In a tenement where the filmmaker lived for eight years, four individuals share their experiences within architecturally identical spaces. The first portrait unfolds in a bedroom that also served as an office for the filmmaker's former partner. The remaining three films capture the lives of neighbors, each filmed using a single 16mm Bolex camera and available light. These portraits reflect on how the residents occupy their shared environment and the connections formed through their proximity.
