Synopsis
Perel returns to ESMA, the site of the former Clandestine Detention, Torture, and Extermination Center in Buenos Aires. He enters from a different location than before. The documentary presents architectural plans, abstract graphics, and photographs. Perel’s focus shifts from creating a new space to contemplating the destruction of the site. He conveys that this destruction entails more than the physical removal of structures like columns and beams. The film runs 42 minutes and was released in 2013.
