Synopsis
Rutherford Appleton Laboratory houses thousands of glass-plate slides depicting the Sun, created between 1875 and 1945. Artist Anna Price discovered these during her residency there. "Sunlight," an 8-minute video work from 2013, presents a two-screen display of these historical images. The project combines scientific history with visual art, reflecting on the evolution of solar observation.
