Synopsis

In Harlesden, Brent, the Harlesden People's Community Council formed to address local needs. Residents of the Stonebridge estate sought to transform a disused London Transport bus terminus into a community complex. The documentary captures their efforts in 1987, detailing the challenges they faced and the determination of the community to create a space for social and recreational activities. Through meetings and planning sessions, the film illustrates the grassroots activism that aimed to revitalize their neighborhood.
