Synopsis
Sophy Romvari sits in her home, surrounded by a box of old films and photographs of her two deceased brothers. As she digitizes these images, she uncovers never-before-seen photographs taken by her father after their deaths. The 17-minute film, made as Romvari's thesis project at York University, captures her family's unresolved grief and emotional reflections. Premiering at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival, "Still Processing" later won awards at various festivals and was released on streaming platforms Mubi and The Criterion Channel.
