Synopsis
Max Dean, a Canadian multidisciplinary artist, confronts his prostate cancer diagnosis through his art. In the 2021 documentary Still Max, directed by Katherine Knight, Dean reflects on themes of time, aging, and illness. His partner, artist Martha Fleury, faces her own battle with ovarian cancer, prompting Dean to incorporate her experience into his work.
