Kristjan dreams of making a film about painter Jüri Arrak, despite years of delays. He engages in drunken conversations with Eedi, a self-proclaimed cinema pioneer and chess master who struggles with mobility and hearing. Manfred captures these moments on camera, drawing from 12 years of archival footage and ironic pranks. Set against a minimalist budget, "Spit in My Face" presents a personal narrative of ambition and artistic aspiration within Estonian culture.
