Synopsis
Students at a primary school in Jiangxu, near Shanghai, share their thoughts on personal issues, family dynamics, and societal norms. Tammy Cheung conducts interviews with around two dozen children, using techniques from her previous work, Speaking Up (2005). The 30-minute film intersperses their responses with scenes from their daily lives at school. Through these conversations, the documentary captures the evolving perspectives of young people in contemporary China.
