Synopsis

Maria do Socorro Nobre resides in a women's prison in Salvador, Bahia, serving over twenty-one years. She connects with the outside world through art. Inspired by Franz Krajcberg, a Polish artist and Holocaust survivor, Socorro writes him a heartfelt letter. Their correspondence reveals her hopes for life beyond prison walls. The film illustrates how art can bridge gaps and foster connections, even in the most challenging circumstances. Directed by Mini Kerti, "Socorro Nobre" runs for 23 minutes.
