Synopsis

Alfred became Liberia's first surfer after discovering a bodyboard while fleeing from rebels. In 2008, four young surfers travel to Liberia, a country recovering from decades of civil war. They seek perfect waves but find much more. As they meet locals and hear their stories, they document the challenges faced by a nation in transition. Alongside the thrill of surfing, they emphasize the need for responsible travel in the modern world.
