Synopsis
In a cryogenics lab, nitrogen-pumped bodies circulate their own blood, suspended in a state of near-life. Nearby, a robotics perception lab features machines designed to read human emotion. At various zoos, animals experience extended lives devoid of sexual, social, and survival cues. These three environments serve as frameworks for understanding the concept of "deathfullness"-the paradox of being alive while feeling dead. The film runs for nine minutes and was released in 2013.
