In a semi-open prison for women, a group of inmates collaborates with professional actors to stage Anton Chekhov’s play, Three Sisters. Through this process, they share their life stories, revealing their struggles and aspirations. The documentary, directed by Elita Kļaviņa, captures their longing for a better life beyond prison walls.
