What is Silvia about?
Silvia is a documentary. Silvia Suppo lived in Rafaela, Santa Fe, Argentina. In 1977, she was kidnapped and raped during the last Argentine civil-military dictatorship. The authorities forced her to have an abortion, a traumatic experience that shaped her life. In 2009, her testimony led to the first conviction of federal judge Víctor Brusa for crimes against humanity. Three months later, Silvia was murdered in her shop. Her death remains unsolved, reflecting the ongoing fight for justice in Argentina.
