Synopsis

Albania contains 750,000 bunkers built during the dictatorship of Enver Hoxha, which lasted from 1944 to 1990. These structures appear in cities, yards, and public spaces. Following the fall of communism, many Albanians repurposed the bunkers as pizzerias, bars, museums, and hostels. Director Luigjina Shkupa uses these bunkers to represent the remnants of communist rule and the changes in Albanian society. The film runs for 29 minutes and was released in 2021.
