Synopsis
Sibila, a woman from Peru, spent 15 years in prison after being accused of ties to the Shining Path, a Maoist guerrilla group. The filmmaker, Teresa Arredondo, recalls the moment she learned of Sibila's incarceration through a phone call from Peru, which left her with lingering questions. Now that Sibila is free, Arredondo seeks to reconnect with her. The film examines Sibila's past and the effects of political turmoil in Peru on their family relationships.
