Synopsis

Annie, a 75-year-old night watchwoman, patrols a forest in the Cévennes region of France. Her routine is disrupted by construction activities that threaten the area. The film also looks back to the 16th century, when peasant women united to resist the enclosure of common lands. Their struggle against land loss echoes through time, connecting past and present in this 69-minute documentary.
