Synopsis

Shabu, a 14-year-old boy from the south of Rotterdam, faces family turmoil after a joyride damages his grandmother's car. With his grandmother on vacation in Suriname, he has the summer to make things right. The film follows Shabu as he confronts the consequences of his actions and seeks to repair his relationships. It captures the challenges of adolescence and the weight of responsibility within his family. Directed by Shamira Raphaëla, the documentary runs for 75 minutes.
