Synopsis

In the Arkhangelsk region of Russia, near the White Sea, remote villages reveal a way of life shaped by isolation. The author, who spent his childhood in this area, conducts research that reflects his personal connection to these communities. Many of the villages lack direct access to cities, relying solely on air transport for connection. The film captures the stark realities of life in these northern settlements, where tradition and modernity coexist amid challenging conditions.
