Serenade for Haiti

Synopsis

Haiti’s music school, devastated by a catastrophic earthquake, struggles to survive. Faculty and students work together to rebuild after the destruction in 2010. They face challenges as they cope with loss and seek ways to continue their musical education. Amidst the rubble, they innovate methods to keep their school alive. Director Owsley Brown documents their efforts over 70 minutes, capturing a community determined to restore their institution and the music they cherish. The film is in French and Haitian Creole.
