Synopsis
Rodriguez, a singer-songwriter from Detroit, released two albums in the 1970s. These records became anti-apartheid anthems in South Africa. After Rodriguez disappeared from the music scene, two fans from Cape Town began a search for him. Their quest included tracking down bootleg tapes and engaging with local folklore. Years later, they located Rodriguez and organized sold-out concerts that introduced his music to a new generation. The film covers themes of fandom and music's global reach.
