Synopsis
Richard Davies, a photographer from England, travels to the Russian North to document its wooden churches, many of which are disappearing. He encounters a small, nearly forgotten community and its 300-year-old church. Rather than just recording images, Davies joins local efforts to restore the church and revive the community.
