Synopsis
Bikontine, a young poet, travels along Burkina Faso's only rail line following the October 2014 uprising. He journeys from South to North, stopping in cities and villages. In these encounters, he listens to the dreams and disappointments of local residents. His reflections lead him to consider the legacy of Thomas Sankara, the former president assassinated in 1987. The film presents a society grappling with change and identity in a time of political flux.
