Synopsis

Sanson, a young artist from Tahiti, expresses his passion for roosters through his artwork. Cockfighting, a practice introduced to Polynesia by early Chinese immigrants, became widespread across the islands. Chinese traders organized these events wherever they settled, often bringing their own fighting cocks. While associated with Chinese culture, cockfighting has ancient roots in the Mediterranean and southern Asia, particularly in the Philippines, where it has a long-standing tradition.
