Synopsis
Pierre Agresti and his wife Isabelle retrace their ascent of Garet El Djenoun in the Hoggar massif of the Algerian Sahara, a climb they first attempted in 1967. After reaching the summit in 1970, they documented their experience with an old camera, but the footage remained unused for 25 years. In 1996, they revisit their past, engaging with the Tuaregs in the rock salt mines of Amadror. Their experiences culminate in a film showcased at the Trento Film Festival in 1997, highlighting the Sahara's beauty and its rich culture.
