In Lviv, the search for housing has become increasingly difficult for many displaced families. As the war in Ukraine enters its third year, 3.7 million people have been forced to relocate. Initially, many sought refuge with friends or in municipal shelters. Now, they face rising rental costs, with one-bedroom apartments in Lviv seeing a 33% increase since February 2022. Landlords often refuse to rent to those from eastern regions, particularly families with children and pets.
