Synopsis
Anna Wajcblum worked in a munitions factory near Auschwitz-Birkenau during World War II. Alongside other women, she participated in a resistance operation to smuggle gun powder with the goal of destroying the gas chambers. The film features Anna's diary, which details her experiences and the friendships formed among the women involved. After the war, Anna moved to Ottawa and became a social worker. Her sister was executed for her involvement in the resistance.
