An abandoned farmhouse beside Shuangxi, on the outskirts of Taipei, serves as the rehearsal space for Ruiming Band. Lead guitarist Zheng Zhaoting, known as Abo, attends daycare classes, while bassist Yang Dongliang, or Dong Niang, works as a photojournalist. Drummer Han Ligang has no specific job, and rhythm guitarist Dai Chongyuan, referred to as Senior, drives a taxi. Each night, they gather to play music, seeking solace from societal pressures and questioning the meaning of life beyond financial gain.
