Jô, Eunice, Alessa, and Fabiana became mothers in their teens as Brazil transitioned to democracy from 1985 to 1995. The film interweaves their personal archives with contemporary footage filmed by the women in 2018. This later footage captures their lives during the election campaign of Jair Bolsonaro. The documentary presents their domestic spaces and the challenges of early motherhood amid political change.
