Synopsis
Jean Donovan, a young laywoman from Cleveland, is one of four American women murdered in El Salvador on December 2, 1980. Alongside Dorothy Kazel, Ita Ford, and Maura Clarke, she provided essential aid to the impoverished. Their deaths were orchestrated by a death squad linked to the U.S.-backed Salvadoran military, part of a campaign against those supporting “liberation theology.” The documentary features archival footage, interviews, and personal diaries, centering on Donovan's life and the circumstances surrounding the killings.
