Synopsis

In the mountains of Salta, Argentina, a Kolla community lives at 3,000 meters above sea level, near the Bolivian border. With only a school as a presence of the Argentine State, around 500 residents face difficult living conditions. The film documents their daily lives and struggles in a region deemed inhospitable and isolated from much of the country.
