Synopsis
Konstantin Stupin, known as Stupa, emerged as a rock-n-roller in Orel during the final years of the Soviet Union. At 44, he reflects on his early days as the leader of the band Night Cane, which performed provocative songs in schools. The group gained recognition at the “Festival of Hopes,” organized by Artemy Troitsky, where they were the only non-Moscow act to win the audience's sympathy prize. Their lyrics evolved to address deeper themes while maintaining a spirit of protest.
