Synopsis
Tim Bruns, an American climber, discovers climbing cliffs in a village near Ramallah, Palestine, in 2014. He begins equipping routes to teach locals the sport. Together with fellow climber Harris, he opens Wadi Climbing, the first indoor climbing gym in Palestine. The gym attracts a diverse group, including Bedouins and activists. American writer Andrew Bisharat visits the West Bank to connect with his roots and observe how climbing impacts the community. "Resistance Climbing" is part of the Reel Rock 17 series.
