Synopsis
Kenji Sugimoto, a mathematics and science history professor at Kindai University in Osaka, seeks Albert Einstein's brain, which was removed after the physicist's death in 1955. Sugimoto travels to Princeton Medical Center, where he learns the brain has been misplaced. His quest leads him across the United States, including a visit to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a meeting with Einstein's granddaughter by adoption, Evelyn Einstein. Ultimately, he locates the brain in Lawrence, Kansas, stored in jars.
