Synopsis

Margarita seeks to illuminate the silenced history of her ancestors by following the diary of Katrulaf, an indigenous Mapuche prisoner of war. This exploration retraces the deportation routes of the Mapuche people, highlighting the genocide they faced during the military invasions that led to the establishment of Argentina and Chile. Through this historical lens, the documentary amplifies the voices of a displaced community and addresses the lasting impacts of colonial violence on indigenous populations in South America.
