Synopsis
Edo Čvar established a sieve workshop at the Red Cross in Belgrade after World War I. He was joined by his cousin Ivan Debeljak, and together they produced sieves that were sold throughout Serbia and Vojvodina. The workshop has operated for 100 years, and its legacy continues under the stewardship of Ivan Debeljak Jr. An exhibition dedicated to the workshop and its history was recently opened at the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade.
