Raising Sancho

Synopsis

Carolina Vargas, a giant otter expert, raises Sancho in the Pantanal, the world's largest tropical wetland. Rescued as a baby by local fishermen, Sancho relies on Carolina for food and survival skills. As he grows, she faces the challenge of releasing him back into the wild. Giant otters are social animals, and Carolina questions whether an orphaned otter can thrive alone. The film follows Sancho's development and the dangers he encounters in his natural habitat.
