Synopsis
Michael Stipe and his bandmates from R.E.M. performed on various BBC programs throughout their career, leaving a significant mark on rock music. "R.E.M. at the BBC" compiles performances from the BBC archives, including 'Pretty Persuasion' on the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1984 and 'Orange Crush' on Top of the Pops in 1989. Acoustic versions of 'Losing My Religion' and 'Half a World Away' from The Late Show in 1991 are featured, along with appearances on Later with Jools Holland and Parkinson.
