Vinciane Despret, a philosopher, joins artists Camille Pier and Gwen Seemel to challenge conventional views of sexuality and gender in the animal kingdom. "Queerying Nature" presents numerous examples of homosexual birds, transgender fish, and non-binary animals. The film questions the rigid labels humans impose on these creatures. It incorporates insights from biologists and ethnologists, arguing that the diversity of nature's expressions of gender and sexuality exceeds human norms. The documentary runs for 65 minutes and was released in 2023.
