Ro Nghiem attends graphic design school while living in Little Saigon, Orange County, California. Natalie Newton works as a strategic research analyst and advocates for social justice. Shannon My Le is a claims adjuster and part-time entrepreneur. "Queer Vietnameseness" follows these three second-generation Vietnamese Americans as they engage with language, politics, and family dynamics. Their experiences reflect the challenges and realities of queer life within the Vietnamese diaspora, including community organizing and employment in local nail salons.
