Synopsis

An activist from Egypt arrives in Berlin after fleeing the 2011 revolution. He hopes to find safety and freedom but instead lives in a refugee camp near a site of frequent anti-refugee protests. As he confronts hostility in his new environment, he reflects on his past and the meaning of his queer identity. Through memories and new friendships, he redefines what home means in this unfamiliar city. The documentary runs for 10 minutes.
