Synopsis
Paris’ 13th arrondissement features one of the largest Vietnamese communities outside Vietnam. Hieu Gray captures the lives of these Vietnamese people, known as "Viet Kieu." Food plays a central role in their culture, with greetings often revolving around meals. Through shared dining experiences, Gray portrays their stories and experiences in the city’s Asian Quarter. "Quận 13" runs for 21 minutes and aims to document a lesser-known aspect of the Vietnamese diaspora in France.
