Synopsis

Abandoned cinemas across France tell a story of cultural transformation from the mid-1960s to the late 1990s. Once bustling venues for mainstream films, many theaters transitioned to adult and low-budget offerings before closing their doors. Director Bernard Pavelek captures the fate of these historic spaces, which have been repurposed into garages, places of worship, and retail stores.
