Synopsis
Keith Huff, a resident of the Beech Terrace housing project in Louisville, Kentucky, reflects on his 27 years in the prison system. The film follows his story alongside three others from the neighborhood, where one in six residents cycle in and out of incarceration each year. Kentucky spends over $15 million annually on imprisoning individuals from Beech Terrace. Mark Bolton, the city’s director of corrections, works to reintegrate inmates into society, addressing the systemic issues that perpetuate this cycle of imprisonment.
