Synopsis

At a Portuguese university, students participate in traditional initiation rites that have persisted for decades. These hazings, led by older students, involve a series of challenges and ceremonies throughout the first year. Despite protests against them, these rituals have seen a resurgence in the last ten years. They often include explicit sexual language and power dynamics, creating a controversial atmosphere in university life. The documentary captures the ongoing tension between these traditions and modern student values.
