Synopsis
Lamorisse’s wife and son completed Le vent des amoureux eight years after his death. Iran’s Ministry of Art and Culture used additional footage to create a seven-minute short film as a postscript to honor the filmmaker and the Pahlavi regime’s vision. Released just before the Iranian Revolution, this film marked a significant moment in history. The documentary features a slowed-down version of the short film alongside an audio interview with an archivist responsible for preserving the original reels.
