Synopsis
Inside a recycling factory in northern France, workers harmonize with the rhythmic sounds of machinery. As the process of recycling unfolds, a truck driver sings a heartfelt song for his love, envisioning an island built from the materials around him. The film merges documentary and musical elements, creating a unique auditory and visual experience. Inspired by Alan Lomax's recordings and Jacques Tati's films, it presents a sculptural narrative that intertwines sound and image seamlessly.
