Synopsis
Valiasr Street runs seventeen kilometers from the south of Tehran to the Alborz mountains. Originally, more than 60,000 plane saplings lined this street. As time passed, the number of standing trees dropped to about 8,000. The film details the history and current state of Valiasr Street and its trees. It also addresses the environmental impact of urban development in Tehran. The documentary lasts 66 minutes and was released in 2014.
