Synopsis

Pierre Avezard, known as Petit Pierre, created a massive merry-go-round automaton in Loiret using discarded materials. Since 1937, he has transformed waste into art, reflecting his unique vision as an "art brut" artist. The automaton is now part of La Fabuloserie's collection. This 8-minute documentary, awarded the César for Best Short Documentary in 1980, presents scenes from Avezard's life and his creative process.
