Steve, an Adélie penguin, prepares for fatherhood in Antarctica. He searches for a mate and eventually finds Adeline. Together, they build a nest and welcome two eggs. While Steve hunts for fish, a killer whale chases him away. A blizzard later threatens the eggs, but the family survives. As the chicks grow, they face dangers from skuas and a Leopard Seal. The film, narrated by Ed Helms, captures the challenges and joys of penguin life in the icy environment.
