Synopsis

David Boots has spent 20 years skateboarding at Peace Park (place de la Paix) in Montreal. His first feature-length film captures the daily lives of the park's users amid the city's gentrification efforts in its red-light district. The documentary shows the perspectives of two groups: the lifers and the skateboarders. It documents how they coexist in the park, facing challenges from city and corporate interests.
